Dens randomly generate when you enter one, so you can get different eggs by loading up a save and trying again. Rinse and repeat until you find your egg! If you roll particularly good dens, where there are multiple Rare Monster Dens at once, you may want to save before entering them.This makes claiming an Oroshi Kirin egg a little bit harder, as the chance of getting this egg from the nest after. Accepting this quest from the Quest Board will spawn a new High-Rank Subquest Den in Loloska Forest at the location shown below. If there are no Rare Monster Dens, fast travel to the same Catavan Stand in the Terga Volcano Base, but instead during a different time of day. Oroshi Kirin has been added into the game in a new Rank 8 singleplayer quest called Ice Phantom.Rathian's Nest Search is handy here, as it marks closeby dens on your map and labels the rare ones. Use a Finding Charm to increase the chances we'd find a Nergigante egg with decent genes.Here are the steps we took to get a Nergigante egg:
You must instead search Rare Monster Dens and hope the egg appears. It's impossible to force a Nergigante back to its den, and it will never retreat after a fight. Once defeated, there is, unfortunately, no way to guarantee a Nergigante egg spawns. Nergigante is weak to Thunder, so using Zinogre or Astalos weapons as well as Zinogre and Astalos themselves will be advantageous.
